Image Portal A/V is an enterprise class, Web-based solution for managing large libraries of digital images, documents and rich media files. Utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), this solution is geared toward organizations of all sizes who depend on seamless work-in-progress Digital Asset Management (DAM). QuickTime technology is utilized to deliver advanced support of audio and video clips. Beyond standard previews, Image Portal A/V capabilities include keyframe display, keyframe thumbnail selection, format transcoding, and support for Podcasting of both audio and video files. QuickTime is also depended on for flexible and efficient thumbnail conversions and image repurposing. Advanced searching options utilize Spotlight technology, allowing for quick and comprehensive search and retrieval of assets. Performance and storage capability can be enhanced by running the software on an Apple Xserve or an Xserve RAID, delivering an Enterprise level solution at a workgroup price.
A TRULY WEB-BASED SOLUTION
Unlike many DAM systems that offer Web modules as an after-thought, Image Portal A/V was built from its inception to be a Web-based solution. Mac or PC. Safari, Explorer, Firefox, or Netscape. To the end user it doesn't matter because Image Portal A/V is accessible from any browser that is connected to the Web - no client side components are needed. Whether it's a salesperson on the road, an art director working from home, or a partner accessing digital assets from around the globe, a truly Web-based solution translates into truly efficient collaboration.
COLLABORATION & WORKFLOWS
From its Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) foundation to its integration with Adobe Creative Suite 2, Image Portal A/V was built to be a centralized digital asset hub that can seamlessly sync with any work-in-progress project or other custom workflows. The Web Services component ensures that Image Portal A/V can tie directly into almost any application. FLEXIBLE & FRIENDLY
NetXposure applications are based on open standard technologies, and are built to be as flexible as possible with ability to integrate into a wide variety of technology environments. Image Portal A/V works with third-party JDBC-compliant databases and supports most popular Application Servers (see the back page for details). SECURITY & ADMINISTRATION
Administrators control access to assets both on the user and asset level. Users can be assigned to one of seven different functionality levels, while user groups help manage specific access roles. Image Portal A/V utilizes a flexible and powerful Access Control List (ACL) system for granular access control over assets. This security system can be integrated directly into your existing Directory Server -centralizing control -drastically reducing configuration time and overall security maintenance. Additionally, Image Portal A/V can be augmented with standard security technologies, including Certification-based access control, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
